Rinnovo cariche sociali SItE

Cari Soci,

vi informo che durante il XXVIII Congresso della SItE (https://www.congressosite2018.it/), e precisamente nei giorni 12 e 13 settembre, sarete chiamati a votare per il rinnovo delle cariche sociali (Vicepresidente e sei componenti del Consiglio Direttivo). Le cariche attuali scadranno il 31 dicembre 2018 ed i nuovi eletti subentreranno a partire dal 1° gennaio 2019.

Si ricorda che sono elettori attivi e passivi tutti i Soci in regola con il versamento delle quota sociale 2018.

Si ricorda altresì che, come da Statuto (art. 6), “L’elezione dei Consiglieri e del Vicepresidente avviene su candidature proposte al Presidente in carica della Società almeno 30 giorni prima dell’Assemblea”. Pertanto, tutti coloro che desiderano candidarsi per la carica di Vicepresidente o di componente del Consiglio Direttivo sono invitati ad inviare entro il 14 agosto 2018 per email al Presidente della SItE (ad entrambi gli indirizzi antonio.mazzola@unipa.it e info@ecologia.it) la propria disponibilità ed il programma che si intende sviluppare (max 1500 caratteri).

eLTER H2020 project Transnational Access Scheme offers funded access to LTER sites

Our 3rd TA call is currently open for applications. The closing date is 11 March. Via the EU-funded eLTER H2020 project, we can offer successful applicants funded access to nine European long-term ecosystem research sites.

The eLTER TA Call encourages a bottom-up design of research activities to be conducted at one or more of the sites involved in the project. The recommended framework for research themes is ecosystem/biodiversity responses to abiotic drivers, placing emphasis on climate change and nitrogen deposition, thereby considering climate (meteorological) data, soil parameters, soil solution/runoff chemistry, nutrient cycling variables, and information on ground vegetation. However, proposals covering other themes are also encouraged. Furthermore, proposals considering socio-economic research themes are welcomed, since several sites are included in the eLTER TA Scheme that are suitable for socio-ecological research.
