We received from Dr Bek Christensen (President of the Ecological Society of Australia) an invitation to participate the Annual meeting of their society, which will be held virtually from 30 November – 3 December.
The theme of this year’s meeting is ‘Understanding ecological extremes: Mechanisms of Resilience and Recovery‘. They have a full program with 4 concurrent sessions each day, as well as our usual poster session, and social/networking activities. In particular, they are looking forward to celebrating the tenth anniversary of our Indigenous Ecological Knowledge symposium at the conference.
All content will be available online until 31 December, so if you miss a session or want to watch something again you’ll be able to.
Bek writes in his invitation e-mail: “While we’re sad to miss out on a face to face meeting, we’re also excited that a virtual format makes it easier for more people to attend and interact with the conference regardless of location.”
